Adverse Possession Fundamentals and Case StudiesPE & PLS (Timed & Monitored)

Adverse possession is a legal doctrine that allows a person to claim a property right in land owned by another. Common examples of adverse possession include continuous use of a private road or driveway, or agricultural development of an unused parcel of land. In this course, we will define what adverse possession is, explain why adverse possession exists, and describe what constitutes adverse possession. We will outline the tax payment and deed requirements, and compare the time required for adverse possession state-by-state.

This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of course materials.
