Absorbent and adsorbent materials are used every day in residential, commercial and industrial facilities. They are so ubiquitous we sometimes do not recognize the technology behind their use. For commercial and industrial use, selection of the proper sorbent and/or spill kit is absolutely critical. Using the wrong material can negate cleanup and heighten a potentially hazardous spill or leak thereby sacrificing personnel and employee safety. A basic understanding, which this course strives to provide, will allow a person to speak with intelligence when calling a vendor to discuss material application for a specific need.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
