The purpose of this course is to show the reader the importance of considering the various options of excavation and trench support methods. Safety, site, ground condition, and obstruction constraints influence the selection of any excavation support method. The cost difference between the various methods in any given application can be huge. Selecting the safe and most economical excavation support method is critical to winning and completing successful projects. This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of course materials.
