Welcome to NFPA 72 Emergency Communications Systems. Emergency Communications Systems (ECS) communicate concise, timely, event-specific notices concerning life safety events. We'll wade into 2022 NFPA 72 Chapter 24 Emergency Communications Systems and 2021 NFPA101 Life Safety Code since these work together during a design. We want to know where and what these codes say about ECS. Regarding ECS, we tell what goes where in plans and specifications and we list some Masterformat titles involving ECS. For an Emergency Command Center, an electrical engineer's to-do list is a bonus.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
