This 3-hour course is the first in a series of three courses about the mechanical design of electric power distribution facilities. This volume of the series addresses pole and crossarm loading and explains how to calculate the expect loads on poles and crossarms and how to properly size equipment for the loads.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
