Mr. Fleckenstein is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and is a registered professional engineer in two states. He has a broad background in the electrical and I&C disciplines as applied to refrigeration, air conditioning and power generation. In particular, he has varied experience in all facets of engineering projects including proposals, cost estimates, studies, design, and plant start-ups. His experience in power generation includes both fossil and nuclear plants. He is well versed in most modern electronic controls and especially capable in Distributed Control Systems.

Mr. Fleckenstein served two years as a commissioned officer in the US Army Corp of Engineers.
