PDHonline Course Provider Biography

Colonel Brant served over thirty years on active duty as a Soldier. Some of his leadership positions included three different company commands of approximately 150 personnel each; command of a 500 man paratrooper battalion in the 82nd Airborne Division; brigade commander of a unit with 3,500 troops and commander of a unique detachment, one-third of which were Soldiers from the Republic of Korea. He had tours at both the United States Military Academy and the United States Air Force Academy where he taught leadership classes and participated in leadership research.

COL Brant graduated from numerous military schools as diverse as Ranger School, nuclear weapons assembly course, Jungle School, the School of Advance Military Studies and the Army War College. Besides a B.S. degree, he earned Master's Degrees in History, Education Administration, and Military Operations from Texas A&M University and the Army Command and General Staff College.

Since retirement from the Army, COL (Ret) Brant serves as an Inspector General in the Department of Defense.
