Mr. Beckfeld completed a five year BAE (Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering) degree at the University of Minnesota in august, 1962, and then started work in the aerospace industry. While working he earned an ME (Master of Engineering) degree from the University of Florida in March, 1969 and a MSE (Master of Science in Engineering) from the University of Central Florida in April, 1984. His education and industrial experience includes both analytical and design work. Analysis work was in aerodynamics, fluid flow, heat transfer, structures, and vibrations. Design work was in structures, and mechanisms and actuators. Mr. Beckfeld is a licensed professional engineer, and his current areas of interest are in the HVAC and energy fields.
